Judges Peter Murphy and Robert Maguire had the challenging task of selecting the 2007 Scottish Sports Horse loose jumping champion from a strong field at Rowallan Activity Centre.
While entries were lower than in previous years, the standard was high and the £1,000 first prize went to Jackie Low-Mitchell of Balcormo Stud, Fife, for her home-bred mare Zorette (pictured).
Zorette is by the Holsteiner stallion Indorado out of VDL Torette Isolde.
Zorette won the class by 12 points from the athletic German gelding Esperanto. The son of Escudo showed an impressive technique.
Denise Mitchell owns third-placed Windingo. This gelding was bought at Verden as a foal and showed tremendous scope and good paces.
