World Cup final place for Malin Baryard-Johnsson

  • Malin Baryard-Johnsson has received a last-minute call up to compete at the Rolex FEI World Cup Jumping Final in Las Vegas next week (19 – 22 April) aboard her top horse Butterfly Flip.

The Swedish rider, who was second on the reserve list after the final qualifying leg in s’Hertogenbosch in The Netherlands, received a call from the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) on Tuesday offering her a place.

Malin said: “I was very happy to be asked. I’ve had some success in Las Vegas before with Butterfly Flip and she is in good form right now so I am really looking forward to it.”

Malin is one of 18 riders to have qualified from the Western European League. This year’s competition boasts four former champions amongst its 43-strong field.
