Weather claims top SJ event

  • The season’s first BSJA Premier Show, which was due to take place at Hurstbourne EC thisweekend (17-19 January) has been postponed.

The Hampshire centre has been hit by the flooding that has affected so much of Britain, and the outdoor working-in area is under water.

“Although we have a small indoor warm-up, it isn’t suitable for a show jumping show, so, with storms forecast for the weekend, we had no option but to cancel,” said venue manager Anne Dicker.

The show will now take place on 7-9 March, with the same schedule.
