Spanish Sunshine Tour jumping — week four


  • Robert Maguire (Two Mills Showtime) and David McPherson (Pilgrim) were second and fourth respectively in the grand prix during the fourth leg of the Spanish Sunshine Tour.

    Laura Renwick’ rode Limelight De Breve into runner-up spot in the small grand prix. Robert Whitaker was the sole British big tour winner, with a table C victory on Nureev Du Houssoit.

    Young rider Laurie Bartram enjoyed a two-phase victory on Man About Town, and Tony Pearson won a speed class on Tender Moment. Finally, Sharon Quigley ran out the easy winner of the small tour grand prix on Lugana Beach.

    The other British small tour winner was Kerry Grimster with Laughton’s Dream in a jump-off class.

    Laura Renwick won the young horse grand prix on Kirsch. John Renwick won the other young horse class, taking the top two places in the two-phase on Baloubet Nice & Easy and Twister X.
