Showjumpers to stay with Jessica Kurten — for now


  • Lady Georgina Forbes’ showjumpers will stay at Jessica Kurten’s base in Germany until the financial dispute between the owner and rider has been resolved, a court has ruled.

    Lady Forbes had forbidden Jessica from competing the horses and had requested their immediate return.

    But following the results of a veterinary inspection, on 28 February the regional court of Duisberg found there was no reason to move the horses.

    Mrs Kurten said that she now hoped for an “open and respectful dialogue” towards a solution that would not be too damaging for either “the sport or the financial outcome for all parties concerned”.
