Roberta Roe and New York Spritzer (pictured) clinched victory in the Qdos Developments 148cm Grand Prix in a fitting climax to four days of top competition at the English Home Pony International (HPI) (25-28 October) held at South View EC, Cheshire.
Pippa Allen and James Smith were second and third with their team rides Spot The Lady and Mr Nice Guy.
The 60-starter Bilton Ward Developments 138cm Grand Prix also developed into a real thriller as it went right to the wire with Jessica Crosby and Fountain Ranger taking a flier at the last to win.
Lucy Smith pulled off a series of daring turns with Silver Sunburst to finish second, with Graham Gillespie, taking third on Try To Hit Me.
Yasmin Tanfield and Silver Wonder claimed victory in the Bilton Ward Developments 128cm Grand Prix by producing another typically determined round to win from Jessica Mendoza (Charleys Angel) and Millie Allen (Flinor Songbird).
