The Anglo European Studbook has announced plans to sponsor the Milton five-year-old series.
It will put up prize-money for the qualifiers and championship. The British-based Studbook is a full member of the World Breeding Federation of Sports Horses and also maintains close links with the British Horse Database.
The AES, which was initiated by well-known names from show jumping, dressage and eventing aims to produce British-bred horses which can take on the rest of the world.
