New research could revolutionise showjumping training

  • Researchers from the equine science department of Nottingham Trent University (NTU) have been using the latest eye tracking technology to define where top riders look when jumping.

They have been gathering this information with the ultimate aim of developing a training programme that can be used by riders of all levels to improve their performance over fences.

Find out more about the research, including what Tim Stockdale thought when he tried it out, in today’s issue of Horse & Hound magazine (3 March, 2011).
