British show jumper out of action


  • Andrew Davies, one of Britain’s leading show jumpers is out of action following hospital tests

    Andrew Davies, a member of the World Class Performance Squad Elite Riders, has been forced to take a break from competing following health problems.

    Andrew began to suffer fainting spells and has spent a week at Carmarthen and District Hospital undergoing intensive tests.

    Latest reports are that doctors here havediscovered that his heart is beating too slowly but are unable to find the cause. Andrew, who is said to be still suffering from headaches, has returned home with monitoring equipment and is due to return to hospital later this week for further tests.
