The reviewer of this product fell in love with the boots and would recommend them to anyone, but would advise against wearing them all day every day and in particularly cold weather

I’m so impressed with these boots. My first impression when opening the box was that I thought they’re stylish enough to be a competition boot, and the colour (cognac) is stunning! The square toe is a nice feature which adds a touch of class, and also makes them more comfortable.

They have a full-length elasticated side panel with an elastic gusset on the inside knee, a full length zip at the back and elasticated laces and also a contoured ankle which all ensure a superb snug fit.

The Ariat sizing charts are accurate and they stock a range of calf fittings and lengths. I struggle to find boots, unless custom made that fit snug around the calf, so the extra slim calf that Ariat stock is perfect!

The lovely soft calf skin leather meant they were comfortable to ride in straight from the box, however, wouldn’t suit a rider who preferred a more rigid boot. The Duratread sole provides perfect

grip in the stirrup even in wet weather and the moisture wicking insole allows your feet to stay cool in warm weather. They also feature the Ariat (ATS) technology with the cushioned foot, which makes them comfortable enough for riding all day. However, I don’t think they would be that hard wearing if worn for general yard duties and the soft leather marks quite easily. They were also not the warmest of boots for hacking in the winter weather.

In summary, I would most definitely recommend this boot, it fits perfectly, is comfortable for riding in, smart enough for competition wear and very good value for money. A suggestion for the cognac boot would be to make the elastic panel and zip the same color rather than black.
