He’s used to making his voice — and views — heard on his daytime TV programme, so Jeremy Kyle may have found his calling as he swaps his role as chat show host to manage a team of footballing jockeys.
Jeremy Kyle will be managing the jockey’s team for a charity five-a-side football match at Newmarket’s open day on 22 September.
The jockey team — which is said to include Frankie Dettori, Ryan Moore, Jamie Spencer and William Buick — will go head-to-head with a squad of trainers.
“The trainers don’t stand a chance against us agile jockeys,” quipped Frankie.
Retired footballer-turned-trainer Micky Quinn will manage the trainer’s team — which so far has signed Hugo Palmer, Ed Walker and Ed Dunlop.
Ed Dunlop said: “The jockeys may have the ability and the speed, but with our size and tenacity they are in for some serious competition and ferocious tackles.”
Will Jeremy bring his lie detector….?
