Chester racecourse trials hurdles successfully

  • Hurdle racing may take place at Chester racecourse from next year following a successful trial on 1 October.

Horses trained by Donald McCain jumped two laps of the tight one-mile track.

Despite one faller, which was unhurt, the plans are supported by McCain. Jockeys including Jason Maguire and Will Kennedy reported the course rode well.
