The boot has a patent pending streamlined fastening to give a secure fit and can be used for schooling and hacking.

It comes in black and white, sizes small to extra large, and costs £29.95.

The other addition to the Equilibrium range is Hoofmunch (£3.95), a low calorie, low sugar, high fibre, cereal-free snack.

The product made from Timothy grass, is enriched with biotin, methionine, and zinc to help hoof nutrition.

The company’s Tri-Zone Impact Sports Boot has been restyled for 2014 to offer a tough, durable boot for cross country, racing, hunting, driving and polo.

Lightweight, flexible and breathable, the boot uses a four-layered protection system that moulds around the horse’s leg.

It costs £59.95 for the front legs and £69.95 for the hind legs.

All the products should be in equestrian retailers by the end of September.
