British eventing team chef d’equipe Yogi Breisner is to host a lecture demo in aid of The British Red Cross.
It will be on Wednesday 14 September at 7pm at Merrist Wood College, Guildford, Surrey.
Six local riders and their horses will be put through their paces by Yogi. There will be three 45 minute sessions, from novice flatwork to intermediate and advance dressage
Jacquie Fabb from the Red Cross, said: “We are delighted that Yogi is taking time out from his rigorous training schedule to host this event. He is an idol to many aspiring horse riders across the country and will be giving invaluable insight into the training that world-class riders go through.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to see one of the country’s most successful and respected trainers while helping us to raise money to support the work of the Red Cross.”
Yogi added: “It is always fun to do lecture demos particularly in aid of a good cause. It is interesting to interact with the audience and work with some talented riders and horses.”
Red Cross volunteers will also be giving first aid demonstrations on the evening.
Tickets are £15 in advance or £20 on the door. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross.
