The traditional opening event of the national horse driving trials season, Stanmer Park in Brighton (2-4 May) is popular with drivers and enthusiasts alike, and this year boasts a new sponsor,as well as a new look.
For the first time, the main arena will be located in front of the picturesque Stanmer House and church and will host a number of displays, including Pony Club games, trade turnout driving class and a healthy horse demonstration.
New sponsors Yeoman’s Toyota will be introducing the sport to its hospitality guests with the help of driving legend Minta Winn, while one lucky individual will be enjoying first-hand the thrills and spills of marathon day riding on the carriage alongside Dick Lane.
