William Whitaker sealed 4 fantastic days of showjumping at the new CSI3* at Bolesworth, Cheshire, with victory in the Redrow grand prix.
He and the 13-year-old Upperclass landed the £9,900 top prize with the quickest of 5 double clears in a mammoth 58-starter competition. Nick Skelton and Aristio finished in 2nd, with Robert Bevis (Pebbles IV) claiming 3rd.
“Upperclass is quite sensitive and it took a while to adapt my style to his, but we’ve had some good results,” said William. “Upperclass is a good name for him anyway!”
