Who’s your “Real Horse of the Year”?

    Do you know a horse which has survived a traumatic experience and gone on to compete successfully? Which special equine has made an outstanding contribution to its owners’, riders’ or carers’ quality of life?

    The Real Horse of the Year Award, which was launched by HHO earlier this year, aims to recognise outstanding achievements within theequine world.

    Don’t miss this chance to nominate your choice for the award and you could win great prizes.

    The owner of the winning horse will receive a jacket, top, jodhpurs and performance footwear from Saddlecraft. The “Real Horse of the Year” will enjoy a year’s supply of Blue Chip plus products including a rug and a bridle from Olympian. The nominator will recieve a Saddlecraft jacket worth £70 and tub of Blue Chip original.

    Two equine runners up will receive an Olympian Excel leather bridle and a sack of BlueChip, with their nominators taking home a goodie bag containing Saddlecraft, Olympian and Blue Chip merchandise. All short-listed horse will receive a commemorative rosette.

    The closing date for entries into this year’s competition is 21 December and short-listed horses will be featured on the site between Christmas and New Year.

    You will be able to vote for the horse you think most deserves the title “Real Horse of the Year” in an online survey running for one week from Christmas Day (25 December 2001).
