Watch showjumper clear 2.20m puissance wall at Dublin Horse Show

  • Colombian showjumper Daniel Bluman delighted the Irish crowds when clearing 2.20m to win the puissance class at the Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show on his grey stallion Clyde.

The win was all the more impressive as this was only Daniel’s 2nd ever attempt at a puissance class and he had never jumped higher than 2m.

As Daniel explains in the interview below, it was a last-minute decision to attend the show, but he loved the atmosphere, playing up to the crowd by pulling out an Irish flag after one of his successful jumps.

“With such a crowd and fantastic atmosphere, it was impossible to be scared!” he said.

Full report on showjumping and showing from Dublin in H&H magazine, out Thursday, 15 August.
