A £1,000 training bursary is being offered to the winner of the SkillHORSE competition being held at the Skills Show
A training bursary worth £1,000 is on offer to the winner of the SkillHORSE competition which is being held as part of SkillCity, the Skills Show in Manchester (13-16 November).
The event will include competitions, displays and have-a-go sessions.
competitors in SkillHORSE will be required to ride, lunge, turn a horse out for a competition and answer questions about stable management.
The competition is open to young people on work-based learning programmes who have either recently achieved NVQ level 3 in horse care and management or are working towards it.
The prize of £1,000 towards training will be provided by Derby College.
