Talented young rider sought by vet company for £1k sponsorship


  • Are you an up-and-coming rider in search of some extra help to get to the top?

    Sponsorship worth £1,000 could be yours, thanks to equine MRI company Hallmarq MRI.

    The company is searching for a talented rider to support in their quest to reach the top. The successful rider — who will be named the “2010 Hallmarq MRI Scholar — will receive the sponsorship to spend on training, entries and running costs.

    The scholar — who must be passionate about their chosen sport, hard working and with a proven track record in competition — will also receive Hallmarq MRI rugs and saddlecloths for the horse, and promotional clothing for the rider.

    The Hallmarq MRI standing equine scanner has revolutionised the way lameness is diagnosed. With the MRI scanners able to look inside a horse’s leg to reveal the cause of the lameness.

    Hallmarq MRI scanners are now used at 12 different veterinary surgeries and universities across the UK, and more than 18,000 horses have now been scanned.
