Visitors to this year’s Olympia can look forward to some unusual jumping displays as well as top international show jumping
This year’s Olympia International Show Jumping Championships (19-23 December) will include two unique displays of show jumping – both without a horse in sight.
The “human horses”, Matthieu Nassif and friends, will make a whirlwind visit to England on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the show, when they will demonstrate their amazing jumping skills by leaping over the show jumping courses on foot.
Matthieu and friends will be jumping up to 1.60m, with spreads of up to 2m. Matthieu’s record is an incredible 1.73m.
Mountain bike champion Jez Avery will also be entertaining the Olympia crowds as he turns his amazing jumping abilities to show jumps. Jez can jump distances of 25ft and heights of up to 8ft on his bike.
There will be 10 matinee and evening performances during the five-day Olympia extravaganza.
