Something a little bit spooky!

  • Ponies as pumpkins? H&H has seen photos of a brilliant new trend — dressing up ponies for Halloween — and now we want to see more.

The phenomenon of equestrian Halloween fancy dress is more common in the Unites States with most local shows holding “costume classes” to mark the occasion.

From combinations dressed up as the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean to Little Bow Peep and her sheep, there is no limit to the creativity being shown on the other side of the pond.

But riding schools in the UK are now picking up the mantle and various centres across the weekend (2-3 November) are holding fancy dress Halloween classes.

H&H want to see pictures of your pony dressed up. Send yours to madeleine_pitt@ipcmedia.com, including the pony and rider’s name and what they are dressed up as, and our favourites will run on the H&H website.
