Peugeot’s stand at the Hickstead Derby meeting will offer expert advice on road safety from BHS
Car manufacturers, Peugeot, which sponsors the main event at the Hickstead Derby meetingthis week, is giving over part of its stand at the meeting to British Horse Society safety representatives.
Advice on offer will include leaflets, dates lists and guidelines for the BHS Riding and Road Safety Test, plus information on high-visibility gear for riders.
The BHS and Peugeot will also be joining forces to present a 15-minute display before Sunday’s Hickstead Derby. It will feature 12 riders and their horses covered from head to toe in high visibility clothing.
Children under 10 are also invited to compete in a colouring competition to win a toy horse and rider wearing highs visibility outfits. Two of the toys from Surprise Marketing will be available each day of the meeting.
The Hickstead Derby meeting runs from 23-26 August.
