Riding the world for World Horse Welfare

  • Scottish rider Loes Knopper has come up with an ambitious plan to raise money for World Horse Welfare — riding around the equivalent of the world in one day.

She hopes the circumference of the globe — 24,906 miles — will be ridden on 25 September, through sponsored rides.

Ideally, Miss Knopper is looking for 1,600 riders to each cover 15.5 miles, but shorter distances are welcome.

To organise or take part in a ride, email Miss Knopper at joloke82@hotmail.com
