Richard Hammond to start the Golden Button

  • Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond will start the Ledbury Hunt’s Hayes Golden Button Challenge on New Year’s Eve.

Hammond first got involved with the Ledbury earlier this year, when he rode in a mock hunt, pursuing fellow presenter Jeremy Clarkson who was in a four-wheel drive vehicle.

Forty entries have been received for the three-mile chase across country and up to six teams will take part in the JCB Diggers inter-hunt competition.

The hub of this year’s event is Town Street Farm, Tirley, Glos, and the Golden Button starts at 11am.

Entry for spectators is £5 per person, £10 per car.
