Rewards4Racing expands its loyalty programme

  • The Jockey Club’s loyalty programme, Rewards4Racing, has announced the expansion of its scheme, which will allow members to earn cashback from everyday purchases at 3,300 retailers – 3,050 more than previously.

Rewards4Racing is a joint venture between The Jockey Club and Rewards4Racing Ltd. It allows its members – now more than 170,000 people – to accrue reward points from everyday purchases at 3,300 retailers, which they can redeem at all 14 of The Jockey Club’s racecourses nationwide. Racecourses include Aintree, Epsom, Cheltenham, Newmarket and Sandown.

Participating retailers include amazon.co.uk, Halfords, B&Q, John Lewis, iTunes, thetrainline.co.uk, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Boots, Debenhams, Thomas Cook, Blockbuster, Hotels.com and Austin Reed.

Rewards include ticket discounts, upgrades, free racecards, food and beverage discounts as well as “money can’t buy” items that will be introduced regularly for members, from watching a race in the commentary box to choosing the best turned-out horse.

Josh Apiafi, founder of Rewards4Racing, said: “Feedback from members suggested that they wanted even more retailers to gain Rewards4Racing points from. With the addition of an extra 3,050 brands, our members now have a one-stop-shop to gain rewards from their everyday shopping.”

A new web portal for members (www.Rewards4Racing.com) is also being launched in tandem with the loyalty scheme.

Paul Fisher, Group Managing Director of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “The new web portal is a great step forward for our members and with so many retailers now involved in the programme, there’s no reason to miss out on rewards to enjoy at any of The Jockey Club’s 14 racecourses.”
