Bob the Cob, who was rescued by the International League for the Protection of Horses (ILPH) last year, has been chosen by Julip Horses Ltd to become their latest model.
Annabel Davies, managing director at Julip, said: ” When Liz Hatten, ILPH shows and promotions manager, suggested Bob as a model we were thrilled to bits as the ILPH is Julip’s favourite charity and have always wanted to feature one of their horses!”
Bob arrived at the ILPH Norfolk Centre as a half-starved two-year-old who could barely walk. One year on he has doubled his body weight and is now owned by the ILPH. His owner was successfully prosecuted by the RSPCA in January this year and fined £3,000.
Bob theCob is Julip’s first coloured horse and the set includes saddle, bridle, headcollar, rug and bandages. Part of the proceeds from the sales of the sets will be donated to the ILPH.
