Police appeal for witnesses after a horse is stolen in Hertfordshire


  • Police are appealing for witnesses after a horse was stolen from a field in St Albans, Hertfordshire on Thursday 22 May.

    The 14.1hh bay gelding was taken from a field on Cherry Hill between midnight and 1am and has the freeze-mark 352U on its withers.

    Investigating officer Jackie Garnett said: “The theft of this horse has caused its owner much distress and I am asking for the public’s assistance in helping to trace the person responsible and to reunite the horse with its owner.”
