A pensioner has been arrested for sexually molesting a horse in a field near Feltham in London.
Officers were alerted by passing motorists to the behaviour of the man at 4.25pm on 8 August, just off the A30 in Feltham. They rushed to the scene and arrested him on suspicion of bestiality.
A police spokeswoman said: “We were called by members of the public who said they had witnessed inappropriate behaviour or an assault on a horse in a field near the A30. A man believed to be in his 60s has been bailed to return to a west London police station on a date to be confirmed.”
A police source was quoted in The Sun newspaper as saying the man told officers he was sexually attracted to horses and could not resist interfering with the animal when he saw it in the field.
