New truck designed to make moving hay around easier

  • A farmer from North Wales is winning plaudits for designing a new truck that makes moving hay around easier.

The Tidy Tryc – which is made from a steel frame – enables the user to easily transport bales around whole, instead of unwrapping them which can be messy and time consuming.

The Tidy Tryc recently came second in the Farmers Weekly farm invention awards (simple category).

The truck can be used in a similar way to a sack trolley or, if a quad kit is purchased, fixed to the back of a quad.

Telor Edwards who invented the device said: “It’s so much cheaper to buy big square bales rather than small bales, and with the help of Tidy Tryc, segments can be carried around the yard easily with no strain or mess.”
