New Golden Wings snaffle bit launched by Stubben Steeltec

  • A new bit has been launched by Stubben Steeltec.

The Golden Wings snaffle bit is part of the new collection by Stubben Steeltec bits and spurs.

It is made from 14mm sweet copper, designed to encourage salivation and softness, and features “wings” either side of the bit to help combat marked lips.

The company claims the Golden Wings snaffle bit is 100% pinch-less.

“It has no nutcracker effect and enables a rider to give a direct response from the outside of the horse’s mouth. The ‘wings’ ensure the bit stays in the correct position within the horse’s mouth and is particularly beneficial for young and inexperienced horses,” says the company.

A spokesman for Inch’s Saddlery, who stock the new bit, added: “We aim to provide new and innovative products, hand-picked by a team with nearly 30 years experience, and the latest fits the bill perfectly.”

The bit costs £59.44. For more information visit: www.inchs.com.
