New equestrian sponsorship deals announced this week

  • There are two new sponsorship deals in the endurance world this week.

Gloucestershire-based international endurance rider Rachael Claridge has secured sponsorship from Verm-X, makers of natural parasite control products.

Rachael has been using Verm-X on her competition horses for more than six years to tackle worms.

Philip Ghazala of Verm-X is looking forward to the partnership: “Rachael is a fantastic rider and ambassador for the sport we are very pleased to be supporting her and her talented team of horses.

“Verm-X is a natural product and so fits in well with her management routine.”

And in another boost to the endurance scene, British Horse Feeds has taken over title sponsorship of the British Horse Feeds Red Dragon Festival of Endurance 2011.

The Home International comes to Wales this year and will be at the Royal Welsh Showground, Builth Wells (30 September-2 October).

Simon Parker of British Horse Feeds said: “We are delighted to take up title sponsorship at Red Dragon this year.

“Our Speedi-Beet is ideal for endurance horses as it is high in fibre, which helps provide the required stamina for horses to compete over long distances.”
