Lincolnshire sponsored ride for local charities

  • Picturesque Grimsthorpe Park, a country estate near Bourne in Lincolnshire, will host the 2007 Bythams charity sponsored ride.

Taking place on Bank Holiday Monday, 7 May, riders will have the choice of an eight, 12 or 15-mile course situated within the park. The courses are suitable for all standards and, for the more experienced rider, jumps can be tackled on the first part of the course.

All profits from the ride, which takes place on an annual basis, will be split between four local churches and the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.

All entries will be awarded rosettes and prizes will be given to riders who have raised the highest amount of sponsorship.

The entry fee is £15 per horse if booked in advance or £20 on the day. For details contact Rosemary Player (tel: 01778 590350).
