A seven-year-old girl from Michigan, USA, has had her finger bitten off by a horse.
The girl, from Battle Creek, was saddling the horse with her grandmother last week (14 July) when the animal bit her.
Local press reported that the girl’s grandmother originally thought the girl had been bitten on the palm by the horse, before she noticed the finger on the ground.
The girl was treated at a local hospital and the horse was quarantined for 30 days.
