Horse airlifted to safety from 200ft ravine


  • A horse has been airlifted to safety after being stuck in a ravine in America for 6 days.

    The pack-horse was in the middle of a journey through the Santa Ana Mountains in California, due to last several days, when it slipped and fell more than 200ft into the ravine.

    Due to the steep sides of the ravine it took 24 rescue workers to free the horse. It was finally airlifted out by a helicopter on Thursday, 1 January.
