Top polo talent prepares for challenge at the European Open at Guards Polo Club next week
The European Open takes place on 6-11 August. The new tournament, which is funded and organisedby Hildon English Natural Mineral Water, is at Guards Polo Club at Windsor Great Park.
The teams taking part are the All Pro Polo, Beaufort, DK Polo and Horse Power polo teams. Players include Andrew Hine (6), who has been captain of the England polo team since 1999; Henry Brett (7), who many believe to be England’s most talented polo player, and Glen Gilmore (7), who captained the victorious Rest of the Commonwealth team on International Day last Sunday.
Tickets to the tournamentcost £45 (allocated seating) plus £10 per car or £30 per car (picnic area only) covering the semi-final and final at Guards Polo Club as well as automatic entry to any of the preliminary matches at all locations.
