If you want to let British Dressage (BD) know what you think about the organisation, then here’s your chance.
BD is launching the Great British Dressage Survey to find out what dressage fans think, with a special focus on those who compete at a grassroots level. And you don’t have to be a BD member, or even a rider, to give your input.
Chief executive Amanda Bond said: “We are reviewing all our membership packages and the survey will help us come up with suitable products. It’s important to listen and provide what our audience needs.”
BD is particularly keen to find out whether the sport is perceived to be value for money, if it offers the right membership and training and why, out of the 35,000 people in Britain who compete in dressage, only 13,000 are paid up members of BD.
BD member Sarah Ganney said: “I think this is a good move. The survey raises some interesting points and it’s good to see BD consulting people with an interest in the sport.”
