The pair were voted out by the public in a double eviction, ahead of the live final of the Channel Five show tomorrow (Friday 25 January).

The 42-year-old was greeted back into the outside world with massive cheer, though he admitted he was “disappointed” not to have made the final.

But he said on leaving the house it was good timing as it was his son’s birthday yesterday.

During the post eviction interview with Brian Dowling, Frankie added that he’d found the process “challenging emotionally”.

“I came here because I always wanted to be here in the show and I never had the time to do it,” he said.

“But now I have done I really enjoyed it.”

Frankie was the fifth person to leave the house. He entered the programme in the wake of drugs scandal, in which he was banned from racing for six months by French authorities for testing positive for a prohibited substance.

Five housemates remain — Steps singer Claire Richards, former footballer Neil “Razor”Ruddock, Neighbours actor Ryan Moloney, X-Factor Star Rylan Clarke and Heidi and Spencer from The Hills. Rylan is odds on favourite to win.
