Fourth Aachen title for vaulter Joanne Eccles


  • British vaulter Joanne Eccles has added a fourth Aachen title to her tally by taking the senior female class at the CVIO***(29 June-1 July).

    Joanne and her sister Hannah also came first in the pas de deux class (pictured), with a new and “extremely difficult” routine.

    The GBR Nations Cup team finished fifth in an exciting final round. The team was made up of George Cox, Joanne Eccles and the English Vaulting Squad.

    The class was won by Germany I with Germany II in second place.

    And South Scotland Select team finished third in the small team final, producing a smooth performance behind two Swedish teams.
