Did Robert Whitaker set new world bareback puissance record?

  • Robert Whitaker may have set a new bareback puissance record at the Stockholm International Horse Show.

The 27-year-old and Waterstone jumped a towering 2.12m wall on Friday (25 November) and possibly into the record books.

The venue hailed his win as a new world record, but it appears other riders may have jumped higher bareback.

“It’s an unofficial record,” Robert told H&H. “I think other riders may have jumped higher but it was high enough to win the class, which is the main thing.”
