Company launches sweet treats for pony lovers

  • Pony-mad kids — and parents — can indulge a sweet tooth this summer with a suitably horsey snack.

Biscuit company Biscuiteers has produced a limited edition equestrian collection of biscuits, featuring edible riding hats, shirts, boots and chaps, buckets and rosettes.

Harriet Hastings, who founded the London-based company three years ago, was inspired to create the collection by her three children, who are all members of the Waverley Harriers branch of the Pony Club.

“I got some feedback from my children as to what to include in the tin and I wanted to make the biscuits look as authentic as possible,” she said.

“We refresh our collection every year and thought we’d launch a Pony Club theme in time to fit in with all the children going off to camps this summer.

“And once you’ve finished the biscuits, the tin is great for storing all those rosettes.”

The Pony Club collection is £30 and contains nine biscuits.
