British team win Pony Europeans
In July, the British pony show jumping team of Martha Beaumont (pictured), Louise Pavitt, Lance Whitehouse and Hollie Bohringer brought their sport toa new level at Lanaken, Belgium, where they claimed the European Championship title for the sixth successive year.
Team spirits were high after Martha (Colton Maelstrom) and Louise (New York Spritzer) also claimed gold and silver individualmedals.
Afterwards chef d’equipe Katrina Moore said: “They were so professional in their approach and managed to remain totally focussed. I’m really pleased for Martha and Louise, whose individual medals were no more than they deserved.”
