The team chosen to represent Great Britain at the CSIO4* Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup in Wellington, Florida on 28 February will include the top 2 riders in the world, Scott Brash and Ben Maher.
The European and Olympic team gold medal-winning duo will be joined by Tim Gredley riding his own 13-year-old gelding Chamberlain Z and Gemma Paternoster with her long-time partner, the 18-year-old Osiris.
Team GB, which is strongly supported by the UK Sport Lottery-funded BEF World Class Programme, has been drawn 2nd of the 12 teams and will face New Zealand, Canada, Brazil, Germany, USA, Colombia, Israel, Chile, Ireland, Mexico and Venezuela. Only Canada, Mexico and host nation USA will be chasing points in this leg of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup series.
Ireland will be represented by Shane Sweetnam (Eregast Van’T Kiezelhof), Richie Moloney (Carrabis Z), Paul O’Shea (Lilli) and Cian O’Connor (Quidam’s Cherie).
