George Bowman Snr, nineteen-times British National Team champion, has been captured in china by Border Fine Arts
Britain’s most successful international four-in-hand driver, George Bowman Snr, has been immortalised in china.
Border Fine Arts, in conjunction with Peter Jones China, has produced a model of the nineteen-times British National Champion thundering through a typical marathon obstacle with his team of four black Cumberland Cobs.
Entitled “Teamwork”, the piece is said to “capture the incredible spirit of the cobs and George’s inimitable panache as a coachman”. The limited edition hand-painted model is expected to appeal to carriage driving enthusiasts and equestrian sport lovers alike.
