Boris Becker’s Andalusian stallion to be sold

  • The Daily Telegraph today reports that former Wimbledon champion Boris Becker has authorised the sale of his ex-wife Barbara’s pure-bred Andalusian stallion Zeus VII, which is currently in training at a stud farm in Germany.

According to the newspaper report, the beleaguered tennis star has taken the decision following a multi-million pound divorce settlement.

Zeus, a pure-bred black Andalusian, who is believed to be worth atleast £33,000, was bought as a present for Barbara in 1995.

The nine year-old stallion has since been in training – although Barbara Becker had never ridden him, she would pay frequent visits to the stud farm.
