The Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials (9-12 September) has added a new craft area into its shopping village after demand from retailers outstripped the space available in the trade stand area.
There will be more than 200 stands at Blenheim this year.
“Each year we try to augment the visitor experience with more to do for the whole family” said event director Mandy Hervieu.
“In 2007 we introduced an attractions arena which hosts a wide range of displays and demonstrations each day and last year it was the food and drink hall and a ‘hooked on horses’ area.
“This year we are focusing on more displays and shopping have persuaded Adam Henson of Adam’s Farm and Countryfile fame to exhibit and be a lunch time speaker in hospitality!”
But as always top caliber eventing will be the real draw at Blenheim, with some of the world’s best riders and horses testing their skills over Eric Winter and David Evans’ challenging CCI*** and the CIC*** British Championship for eight and nine year-old event horses.
Retailers who would like to apply for a space in the craft marquee should visit www.blenheim-horse.co.uk where they can download information and an application form.
