Awards for new products


  • Horse & Hound magazine invites entries for the BETA New Product Awards next month

    Once again Horse & Hound is inviting entries for the prestigious BETA New Product Awards, which will be judged during the BETA International Trade Fair at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham on 17 – 19 February 2002.

    The awards, which are sponsored by Horse & Hound, will be judged in five main categories:

    • Clothing for rider
    • Horse care products and equipment
    • Saddlery and tack
    • Safety and security
    • Feed and veterinary

    As in previous years, a winner and up to two highly commended awards will be chosen from each category

    The judges this year are:

    • Mike Etherington-Smith
    • Sue Rowding
    • Lyn Russell
    • Karen Coombe
    • Pammy Hutton

    The presentation of the awards will take place in the BETA New Product Gallery, which is sponsored by the magazine, at 6.30pm on Sunday 17 February 2001, and will be followed by a champagne reception.

    Entries are open to any equine product which is new at BETA 2002. This includes products that have been launched in the UK since BETA 2001.

    Entries should be sent to: Advertising Department, Horse & Hound, Room 2122, IPC Media Ltd., Kings Reach Tower, Stamford Street, London SE1 9LS by Friday 1 February 2002.
