A new name for British driving body

  • The sport of carriage driving in Britain has had a makeover — including a new name — to align it with the other major equestrian disciplines.

The organisation, previously called the British Horse Driving Trials Association (BHDTA), will now be known as British Carriagedriving (BC).

“My ultimate goal is that all competitive carriage drivers will want to be members of BC because we offer them a sport that is fun and one that has a long-term future.”

The organisation’s redesigned website, www.britishcarriagedriving.co.uk, went live on Monday (8 April
