Recycle old breeches with EquiRex

    • EquiRex is encouraging riders to recycle old breeches at its stand at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.

    The company will exchange them for a new pair of EquiRex breeches and will offer a £45 discount on the new breeches.

    The old pair will be sent to be recycled in the Netherlands.

    Marjolein van Hilten founder of  EquiRex said: “Production of new textile garments requires a lot of resources (water, farmland). Recycling is gaining more and more importance as resources dry out. Specialized textile recycling companies sort textile that is no longer wearable into different components that can be made into rags for industrial use or serve as raw materials, for example for insulation materials in the automotive industry. Recycling fits in the company strategy of EquiRex”
