New side saddle company Bit on the Side Saddle is launching a range of four different side saddles at the Side Saddle National Championships at Addington (1-3 August).
The company’s owner Sarah Parry has spent several years developing the range.
“I started riding side saddle six years ago because of an injury to my back,” she said. “Our ‘Melody’ saddle comes in five seat sizes and five widths, with the option of template made-to-order versions. It is reinforced for jumping and matching accessories are available.”
The range also includes an “offside” – where the pommel is on the right hand side, rather than the left – and a child’s side saddle.
